Michele Brown has been working professionally as an Obedience trainer for over 7 years. She has trained under two Master Trainers and has helped her clients create a lasting bond between owner and canine.
Before becoming a professional dog trainer, Michele earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Management, as well as a Master's in Education. Additionally, she serves as an Evaluator for the AKC Canine Good Citizen and STAR Puppy Program.
Michele has earned numerous 5 star reviews for her work with Board & Trains as well as Private lessons in dog training. Her experience in Group Dog training as well as public outing training work has been invaluable experience in understanding both canine behavior and everyday situations most pet dog owners face. Her philosophy on dog training is that we all must learn the natural instincts of our dog, what motivates them and how to achieve the balance of letting our dogs be dogs while creating fair boundaries and expectations.
Michele is well versed on all tools and techniques of obedience training and has trained her own personal dogs for over 30 years. She has owned Golden Retrievers for 30 years and trained her most recent Golden to be a Therapy dog. Currently she has 2 German Shepherds that have received their Advanced CGC. She has also worked for 3 years in a breeding program for West German Shepherds in whelping and raising litters as well as experience in managing boarding kennels locally.
Her passion is helping her clients see the true potential in their dogs and showing every dog how to become confident, well behaved and happy in the most organic and enjoyable way possible.
