Dog Training is one of the fastest-growing dog activities in the country—and for good reason. It’s incredible exercise for both you and your dog, and it forges an even deeper relationship between you. Plus, it’s exhilarating to watch as your dog learns new skills and becomes a well-behaved companion!

BASIC COMMANDS - LOOSE LEASH WALKING AND MORE!!

In our entry-level class, we will give you and your dog a sampling of the exciting world of dog training. 

In this series of classes dogs will learn how to perform basic commands, walk nicely on a leash, and greet people politely.

As your dog training team progresses, we will introduce techniques for training more advanced skills. Humans will learn about some of the major aspects of dog training, how to help their dog learn the skills, and how to guide their dog through various exercises.

Some other essential skills for dog training -

come when called, sit, stay, go around things, human and dog body awareness, - will also be covered. (Also, humans will learn how you can train your dog at home with common household items.) The bond between you and your dog will grow deeper as you learn these basics together.

Leash Manners and Basic Obedience

 

Leash Manners and Basic Obedience

Using a variety of short training sequences, this class will work to improve your dog’s
leash manners and basic obedience skills. The class will also focus on improving
your dog’s ability to focus and follow commands in a variety of environments.

Intermediate and Advanced Dog Training

 

Intermediate and Advanced Dog Training

After completing our intro classes (or if you have had some prior dog training class experience
and with instructor permission) you can take dog training to the next level. In this class We will
continue with learning more complex commands and behaviors.
We’ll work on advanced handling and training skills by putting together a short sequence of exercises and help you understand how to navigate through them. The bond between
you and your dog will grow even more as your team learns these more complex
sequences.

Completion of Beginner Dog Training or a prior Dog Training Class

Does your dog have some unwanted behaviors that you would like to address? In this class we will work on a variety of behavior modification techniques to help your dog overcome these challenges. We will explore topics such as anxiety, reactivity, and aggression. The goal is to help you and your dog live a happier and more fulfilling life together.
