Agility is one of the fastest-growing dog sports in the country—and for good reason. It’s incredible exercise for both you and your dog, and it forges an even deeper relationship between you. Plus, it’s exhilarating to watch as your dog nimbly and quickly crawls through tunnels, weaves around poles, and leaps through tires!

Andy will be offering multiple levels of Agility from Beginner to Competition

Introduction to Dog Agility: Beginner through Intermediate

Introduction to Dog Agility: Beginner through Intermediate

JUMPS - TUNNEL AND A TABLE!!

In our entry-level class, we will give you and your dog a sampling of the exciting world of agility competition.

In this series of classes dogs will learn how to perform the pause table, the tunnel and a variety of jumps as well as how to take directions from their humans.

As your agility team progresses, we will introduce techniques for training elements of the more advanced agility obstacles. Humans will learn about some of the major aspects of dog agility, how to help their dog learn the agility obstacles and how to guide their dog through a sequence of those obstacles.

Some other essential skills for agility -

come when called, sit, stay, go around things, human and dog body awareness, - will also be covered. (Also, humans will learn how you can train your dog at home with common household items.) The bond between you and your dog will grow deeper as you learn these basics together.
